Families and Communities Together provides services for families that
deal with emotional and behavioral challenges of children in grades K-8.
FACT is designed to assist families of children who are having difficulty
in their home, school, or community; who have numerous complex
needs; or are not making adequate progress despite multiple agency
involvement. Provide needed services that include case management,
service coordination, advocacy, parent education, and family support.

Serving parents, grandparents and other caregivers of children with emotional,
behavioral, mental and /or developmental disabilities. Providing
support groups with speakers, peer support, education, respite child
care, intensive support services, annual parent retreat, teen programming,
information and referral services. Any child or youth with an
emotional, behavioral and/or mental disorder and his/her family residing
in Wayne County is eligible for free services. No diagnosis or referral
necessary.

The Wayne County Runaway Program provides case management, referral, education, and advocacy services to youth ages 12 to 17 years of age that have considered running away or actually have runaway from home. The Runaway Case Manager will work with the youth and family in an effort to resolve problems through mediation. A toll-free number is available at 1-800-216-5693 during business hours.
