Ombudsman - The Wayne County Department of Aging &
Youth offers an ombudsman program to protect the health,
safety, welfare, human, and civil rights of residents of nursing
homes and adult care facilities. Ombudsman volunteers
are committed to advocating for these individuals and ensuring
that residents rights, unmet needs and complaints
are handled and resolved effectively. Mon.-Fri. 8am-5pm.

Seniors Health Law Project, Wayne County, assists seniors with legal
problems related to nursing home stays or efforts to avoid nursing home
New York State Ombudsman Program
This office protects the health, safety, welfare, and right of people living
