This CNA 160-hour program prepares you to become a New York State
Certified Nurse's Assistant. As a student you will learn the principals
and practices of patient care and the role of the Nurse's Assistant. Studies
include hands-on skills practice and clinical experience in a long-term
health care setting. Prerequisites of the class are: take and pass a basic
reading and math assessment and meet minimum entry requirements.
Have and pass an appropriate and complete physical examination. Able
to perform the duties of a Nurse's Assistant without restrictions.
