Bring your recycling to ALPCO and for NO CHARGE your items will be recycled. ALPCO recycles, newspapers, cardboard, office paper and junk mail, plastics (clean with no caps), metals such as aluminum foil, tin cans, aluminum cans, steel cans, jar lids, household batteries and glass. ALPCO also offers a New York State bottle and can returns at the same location. Hours of operation are: Mon..Fri. 8am.5pm, Sat., 8am. 2pm, Sun. 10am.2pm.

Convenient recycling in Newark open 7 days a week M-F 9am-4pm, Sat. 10am-2pm, and Sun. 10am-12pm. Plastic, glass and tin $.10 per pound and no cost for mixed papers and cardboard. All recycling is free if garbage ($.10 per pound) is dropped at that time. Call for information on 5 convenient locations, waste removal, redemption services, drop-offs & roll-offs and garbage pick up. Newark facility also sells garden supplies such as topsoil, landscape and patio stones.
