Support for teens, at their fingertips Crisis Text Line serves young people in any type of crisis, providing them access to free, 24/7, emotional support and information they need via the medium they already use and trust: text. Here's how it works: 1. A teen texts into CTL anywhere, anytime. 2. A live, trained specialist receives the text and responds quickly. 3. The specialist helps the teen stay safe and healthy with effective, secure counseling and referrals through text message using CTL's platform. CTL partners with existing organizations that are experienced, highly trained, and well-equipped to respond to teens in crisis: experienced crisis centers, youth-serving organizations, and experts in the youth and mental health fields. FACT Program -
Wayne County Department of Aging and Youth

FACT (Families and Communities Together) provides services for families that deal with emotional and behavioral challenges of children in grades K-8. FACT is an interagency initiative designed to assist families of children who are having difficulty in their home, school, or community; who have numerous complex needs; or who are not making adequate progress despite multiple agency involvement. FACT will provide needed services that include case management, service coordination, advocacy, parent education, and family support.

Homeless Program - WC Pre-Trial Services

Wayne County Pre-Trial Services provides short-term crisis management to assist youth in obtaining shelter, food, and clothing; crisis intervention; counseling; substance abuse prevention; and independent living skills. A homeless youth is defined as a person under the age of twenty-one who is in need of services and is without a stable and appropriate shelter where supervision and care are available.

Runaway Program -

The Wayne County Runaway Program provides case management, referral, education, and advocacy services to youth ages 12 to 17 years of age that have considered running away or actually have runaway from hom After business hours call 911.

Youth Intervention - Wayne CAP, Inc.
