Happiness House is an educational, health and human service organization that excels in providing the highest quality integrated programs and services to children and adults with and without disabilities, to their families and to the Finger Lakes community. Birth to Five Program combines evaluations, preschool education, therapy services, autism support and service coordination to help children in the Finger Lakes region meet their full potential.

Birth to Five Program
The Happiness House Birth to Five program combines evaluations, preschool education, therapy services, autism support and service coordination to help children in the Finger Lakes region meet their full potential.
Evaluation Services - Comprehensive developmental evaluation services for children from birth to five years of age with known or suspected developmental disabilities or delays.
Early Childhood Educational Services - An array of center based educational services, including special education, for preschool children with and without disabilities from 3 to 5 years of age.
Child Daycare - Year-round daycare services for preschool children from 3 to 5 years of age.
Therapeutic Services - Therapeutic services delivered within home and community, as well as center based settings. Occupational, physical, speech and language and special education services are available to eligible children from birth to five years of age.
Support Services - A variety of support services for preschool children including counseling, social skills building and family support groups.
Service Coordination - Services to assist families with accessing medical, social and educational services that are necessary for their child's wellbeing.

Wayne County Action Program, Inc. - Head Start/Early Head Start is a federally funded preschool program that provides comprehensive services to children and their families. Education, Health, Nutrition, Family and Community Partnerships, Parent Involvement, and Mental Health Services are provided to all families. Special efforts are made to recruit children with disabilities. Head Start/Early Head Start provides children with activities that help them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. The Head Start/Early Head Start philosophy recognizes parents as prime educators of their children. We welcome parent involvement in all Head Start/Early Head Start functions, and work as partners with the family. Head Start/Early Head Start offers many different program options out of our locations in Sodus, Huron, Lyons, Newark, Clyde, Palmyra, & Ontario. Head Start programs are for children ages 3-5 years old. Early Head Start programs are for expecting mothers (home based options only), infants (6 weeks-18 months), and toddlers (18 months-3 years old).
