Supports and operates therapeutic programs that use horses to promote human well-being and enhanced quality of life for people with physical, mental, developmental, and/or learning disabilities and for people with economic, cultural, or social disadvantages. Currently therapeutic horseback riding instruction is being held at Hillrise Equestrian Center in Walworth, NY with NARHA certified instructor. Call for applications or visit website. Provides services to adult survivors of brain injury to enable them to design and direct their own journey to independence. Programs at the Center include: Structured Day Programs, Day Habilitation, Independent Living Skills Training, Residential Habilitation, Hickok-to-Work Program (pre-vocational training), Community Integration Counseling and Supported Employment. Hours: 8am-4pm & some eve/weekend rec.
